About

Born in China, now living in the United States, Mingli loves law and technology, with a particular interest in privacy law and data policy. She is familiar with privacy law and policy issues of the United States, the European Union and Asia. With work experiences in the tech industry and at several well-reputed tech law and policy institutions, Mingli becomes increasingly passionate about how profoundly technology has been shaping the world around us while at the same time been shaped by government and society.

Mingli has a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where she focused on tech law and constitutional law, and a LL.B from Shanghai International Studies University Law School, majoring in International Commercial Law. Currently, she has been admitted to the District of Columbia Bar, and certified by CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and CIPM. She also has an inactive China Lawyer License.

Last but not least, Mingli has a super cute French bulldog (Roca) who moved with her from Shanghai to DC. During the spare time, she likes going into woods, doing watersports, or exploring herself on the yoga mat.
